The Second Visit with His Brothers
Again Israel's family used up the grain they were given by Joseph. Still they did not know who Joseph was, but just referred to him as "the man." When Israel told his sons to go back to Egypt and get more grain, they refused unless the youngest son, Benjamin, also went because this was a demand from "the man."
Israel at last agreed and told his sons to take back the 20 pieces of silver the man had sent to Israel with the first batch of grain bags. In the past, the brothers sold Joseph into slavery for 20 pieces of silver. But of course, Israel did not know this.
They were invited to eat the noon meal at Joseph's house. When Joseph saw Benjamin (his true brother from his own mother) he wept for joy! Then they ate the meal and Benjamin was served the most food.
